What is solar-land leasing?

The construction timeline depends on the size of the project and the amount of site preparation required. In many cases, several months—or even years—of development work are needed before construction can begin.

When the lease ends, the solar farm may be dismantled at the operator’s expense, and the land restored to its original condition. Alternatively, you may choose to extend the lease if there is ongoing demand for power. In that case, equipment may be upgraded, though the overall structure of the solar farm will remain largely the same, subject to advances in solar technology.
